The Black KA-BAR Tanto is constructed with an epoxy powder coated, 1095 high carbon steel blade and powdered metal butt cap. Carbon steel guard and oval shaped Kraton G_ thermoplastic elastomer handle insure a non-slip grip. The KA-BAR Tanto measures 12 7/8" overall with a blade length of 8". Offered with glass-filled nylon sheath. The Tanto blade shape, of Asian influence, has a thick pointed blade that is good for penetration. This combat knife is designed for the toughest of tasks.
