The Benchmade Apparition with Molded Handle and Plain blade - Features include a versatile deployment system in which you choose normal or spring assisted opening of the blade. Simply insert the Optimizer spring in the handle with the included tool for spring assisted opening or leave out for normal opening. In the spring assisted mode, after manual deployment approximately 30% open the spring assist takes over and snaps the blade fully open and locked. The 4.4 inch handle is made of rugge molded synthethetic to resemble Kudu Horn. The blade itself is a 3.25 in. drop point style made of premium 154CM steel. The polished silver bolster and attractive handle make this knife a pleasure to look at as well as use. The knife locks up solidly with a liner lock and comes complete with a removable pocket clip. This is a very well thought out knife you will be pleased to own.
